Buhari Removes NYSC DG, Fadah

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has approved the removal and immediate replacement of the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier-General Mohammed Fadah.

Fadah’s removal comes only six months after his appointment as the NYSC boss in May, 2022.

However, reasons have not been provided by the presidency for the removal of Gen. Fadah, but a credible sources in the Villa told PRNigeria that the NYSC boss’ removal is not unconnected to the the fact that the army officer allegedly exhibited ‘glaring incompetence’ in the six months he has piloted the affairs of NYSC.

When contacted, the NYSC spokesman, Eddy Megwa, asked our correspondent to wait for an official statement that would be issued on Friday.
