POWA Donates Relief Materials Worth N25m To Kogi Flood Victims

The Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) has provided assistance worth N25 million of relief materials to flood victims in Kogi state.

The relief materials were handed over to the the victims on Thursday by the President of the association, Hajiya Hajara Alkali Baba, the wife of the Inspector General of Police, Alkali Baba.

The assistance would go a long way to cushion the effect of the devastating natural disaster on the plight of the victims.

In her brief remarks, Hajiya Alkali Baba urged the leaders who received the materials on behalf of fellow internally displaced persons to share the items with fear of God and be just without denying any of the victim.
