Stakeholders Urge Young Entrepreneurs To Remain Focus In Business
Stakeholders in business enterprises have urged young entrepreneurs to remain focus in their business not be discouraged but keep pushing.
The Chief Executive Officer of mount Olive Business, the CEO Lubcon group as well business magnate in Ilorin Saliu Mustapha made the call at entrepreneurs network programme orginised for young entrepreneurs in Ilorin, Kwara state
The Chief Executive Officer Mount Olive Business, Queen Elizabeth Ajibola who said entrepreneurs should not to be discouraged by the challenges encounter in their business urged them to remain focus and strive great.
Speaking further, the Chief Executive Officer of Lubcon group Chief Jani Ibrahim who was represented by Mrs Folashade Adefiloye who also urged the entrepreneur to keep on striving great in their businesses added that networking with the right people can open door.
Business Magnate Mallam Saliu Mustapha
Also speaking, a business magnate Mallam Saliu Mustapha who is also the Turaki of Ilorin said entrepreneur is the growth of any economy.
“Anybody who has the foresight of building conducive environment where economy can grow is doing more than the government.” He said
Mustapha who also stressed the need to invest in skills acquisition urged participants to make good use of the programme and be steadfast
He added that he would give his all in supporting the younger ones because the future belongs to them as they add value to their immediate society
Kwara Commissioner for Business and innovation Mr Ibrahim Akaje
Kwara state governor Abdulrahman Abdurazak who was represented by the Commissioner for business and innovation Mr Ibrahim Akaje expressed commitment of the state government in providing enabling environment for business to strive
He added that those that have good idea should submit their proposal to the office of the state social investment programme.
He also reinstate the government commitment in the area of digital economy, ICT innovation hub, visual art centre, garment factory and the Ilorin international conference centre.
He noted that the government has helped many businesses owners even in the period of covid-19 and endsars,
Kwara state commissioner of Police CP Paul Odama
Also speaking, the Kwara state commissioner of Police CP Paul Odama who expressed optimism in Nigeria youths said the state police Command would do more in eradicating crime in the state as he urged the youths to be law abiding.
The founder, Lahmad concept limited Amad Lawal said the programme is basically about entrepreneurs coming together to support each other business
He added that ten people would be given grant of one million each to support their businesses as selection and disbursement would be done same day.
“We are not only going to give money we would give them consultancy also.
“We are going to help take business to next level in the next five years we want them to also give five million naira to an individual to also help them grow.
“The only way we can take Nigeria out of poverty is not through governance but by entrepreneurship.
“We are going to have a micro finance bank where members are going to get loans other than this grant this grant. together we can do more, we are going to take the programme round to other states so that all of our members even those who are not in Kwara can also have a feel of it” he said.
