Kwara Head of Service Urges Workers To Be Safety Conscious

Workers in Kwara State have again been enjoined to be safety conscious to protect lives and property.

The State Head of Service, Mrs Dupe Oluwole gave the charge on Tuesday in Ilorin while speaking at the train the trainers programme packaged by the State Government.

Mrs Oluwole explained that safety should be paramount in the life of the people stressing that government would not relent in making life comfortable for the Workers.

The Head of Service called on workers to be dedicated and to make punctuality their watchword.

In his lecture, the Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince John Falade, explained all the safety precautionary measures in the simplest ways for the participants to understand.

Prince Falade who advised them to always learn to play safe either at their offices or their various homes to prevent disaster said fire disaster among others had rendered most people homeless this year alone.

The Director of Fire Service pledged that the Organization and the government would continue to work to ensure that the society is free from disaster calling for the support of the people to achieve the goal.
