Erik Ten Hag Tells Ronaldo What He Could Do To Get Back Into Man United’s Starting Eleven

Manchester United are preparing to face Arsenal on Sunday in match day six of the England Premier league. The Red Devils are on a good run of form winning their last three games and just conceding a goal in the process. However, Arsenal is on a wonderful run, with five wins in their first five Premier league matches.

Speaking ahead of the Arsenal fixture, Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag told the press what Ronaldo could do to get back into Manchester United’s Starting eleven as the Portuguese superstar has been dropped to the bench in United’s last three fixtures. He said:

“I will be his friend. Sometimes I will be his teacher — as we all know, he didn’t have the pre-season and you can not miss the pre-season. Especially the game we play, the way of play is not the type in comparison with last year.”

“It depends, (and) demands, co-operation and demands certain positioning, in and out of possession. And the other thing is the fitness.”

In summary, Erik Ten Hag is saying Ronaldo must adapt to the new style of play since he missed the pre-season, to get back into the Starting eleven.
