Ex-Governor Ahmed Mourns Hajia Sidikat Alaya, Late Perm Sec
Former Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State has sent his condolences to the Kwara state government and family of the late Permanent Secretary, Hajia Sidikat Bola Alaya on her passing.
The deceased was the Permanent secretary, Kwara State Ministry of Tertiary Education, who died after a brief illness in an Abuja Hospital on Friday.
Alhaji Ahmed in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Femi Akorede on Sunday expressed his sympathy to the government and the deceased family.
“With deep sadness, I offer heartfelt sympathies to the family of Hajia Sidikat Bola Alaya, Permanent Secretary, Kwara State Ministry of Tertiary Education, on her passing.
“Hajia Alaya was personable, diligent and purposeful. While the loss is painful, I urge her family to take heart, understanding that her demise is Allah’s will.
“Additionally, I offer my condolences to the Kwara State Government and civil servants on the death of this astute senior civil servant, who will be missed for her contributions, hard work and kindness.
“May Allah grant Hajia Alaya Al-Jannah Firdaus and comfort her bereaved family,” the former governor said.
