Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu says Nigerian children are the greatest assets of the country that must be well nurtured and protected to realize their full potential.
Engr. Danladi-Salihu stated this in a statement while congratulating Nigerian kids on today’s occasion of 2022 Children’s Day noting that the future of this country lies firmly in the hands of the younger ones.
He charged Nigerian children to shun all forms of vices that could halt their progress in life and reiterated the commitment of the Kwara Ninth Assembly towards making legislation to protect their interests and secure their future.
“Happy Children’s Day to our younger ones across the country. Nigerian children remain our greatest assets and for them to realize their full potentials, all they need to do is to be focused and determined to excel in life. As legislators, we would give them the necessary support to protect their interests and secure their future by making it easier for the government to give them quality education and other basic necessities of life”, the Speaker noted in a statement.
