Kwara Speaker Thanks Constituents, Says More Govt Intervention Coming

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has expressed gratitude to the people of Patigi Local Government Area for their unwavering support given to the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, urging them to sustain the tempo.

Engr. Danladi-Salihu said this while addressing a large gathering of people at a programme tagged “APC Two Year Scorecard in Patigi and Award Presentation” put together by the Patigi APC Support Groups, (PASG) held at Patigi Cultural Centre.

Danladi-Salihu gave an assurance that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq would continue to deliver on his promise to make Kwara a better place for all.

“Let me begin by registering our profound gratitude to you on behalf of Governor and government of Kwara State, I want to assure you that we would not take it for a ride. What Governor AbdulRazaq is doing in Patigi Local Government Area and the whole of Kwara North, in particular, is unprecedented and without fear of contradiction.

” I can say we have never had it so good and this explains why we have all resolved to give him maximum support for a second term in office because the good work must not stop, it is not yet the campaign period, when the time comes we would do just that”

“Also, let me assure you that this administration would complete all the ongoing projects and initiate new ones, and very soon this cultural center here in Patigi would be giving a facelift. Just like we have all seen, Governor AbdulRazaq is leaving no one in doubt of his genuine intention and commitment to rebuild our education sector, revamp our economy, fix infrastructural decay and provide basic amenities which were before now, near-zero”

“The Ilesha/Gwanara state constituency representative while also commending the Etsu Patigi and other traditional royal fathers and leaders in Patigi and Kwara North in general for believing in the present administration and standing by it called on eligible voters and those with one issue or the other pertaining to their PVC to take advantage of the resumption of the continuous voters’ registration to get registered for them to increase the chances of the APC in 2023.

Engr. Danladi-Salihu began his tour of Patigi by paying homage to the Ndalile of Lade; Alhaji Muhammad Baba, the Etsu Patigi; His Royal Highness Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Bologi II and also visited for inspection Cottage Hospital and Central School in Lade with the mammoth crowd chanting “4+4 Insha Allah”, AbdulRahman For 2nd term” among other APC solidarity rhythms.

The Speaker who received an award of excellence on behalf of Governor AbdulRazaq at the occasion was accompanied to Patigi by the member representing Patigi state constituency; Hon Adam Rufai, his counterpart from Okuta/Yashikira; Hon Muhammad Baba Salihu, Kwara Commissioner for Works, Hon Rotimi Iliyasu, Kwara APC Deputy Chairman; Hon Abdullahi Sanmari among others.
