Osun Assembly To Screen Members State Civil Service Commission

The State of Osun House of Assembly on Monday read the names of members of the Osun State Civil Service Commission to be screened by the lawmakers.

The Speaker State of Osun House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye read the list at the Plenary of Osun State House of Assembly, Osogbo.

This is contain in a letter dated 14/ 02 /2022 from the executive governor of Osun State, Governor Gboyega Oyetola seeking the appointment of Babafemi Olatunji Osunro as the Chairman, Hon. Bello Osuolale as the Commissioner 1, Ayantoye Kunle as the Commissioner 2, Adesokun Peter Olatunji Commissioner 3, and Akinyemi Azeez Akinremi Commissioner 4 respectively.

According to the Speaker, “The House of Assembly was empowered by Section 190 of Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended to screen and confirm the appointment of governors nominees”.

He directed the nominees to submit their 35 copies of Curriculum Vitae between Monday and Friday while they should also appear for screening on Tuesday 22nd of February.
